LAFORGE DISPOSAL NEWS: JULY 2026

Due to the extremely high temperatures our area has been experiencing, our crews will be starting their routes one hour earlier on July 1st – July 3rd. Please have your trash out one hour earlier these days in order to ensure our crews are able to retrieve your trash.

There are no service schedule changes for the July 4^th holiday, ALL NY & PA routes will run on Friday 7/3/26 as normal, the routes will begin earlier than normal due to the high temperatures predicted for the day.

Construction Debris Landfill

LaForge Disposal Service began in 1996 with one roll-off truck and 12 roll-off containers. This was in response to demand to provide this service in conjunction with our construction and demolition debris landfill, opened in Wellsville in 1991. We currently have 3 roll-off trucks and over 75 containers to service your needs.

In 1998, we began commercial and residential pickup service. What started as one truck running one day per week, has turned into 3 fully routed packers servicing Allegany, Potter (PA), Western Steuben, and eastern Cattaraugus Counties. One recycling truck services our customers’ needs in this vital area.

LaForge Disposal was partly owned by Mary Kate Cole, who served as President and Office Manager and Kevin LaForge who served as Secretary/Treasurer and General Supervisor for thirty years. Mary Kate retired in 2026 and Kevin now runs the business. We have a staff of 19 to serve well over 1,000 customers.
